We are a Year 2 class that has a strong focus of our school SOLE values at the heart of our learning. To start the year we,  are looking at whanaungatanga and how every classmate belongs. We are learning to resolve conflict through social and emotional coaching, as well as Circle Time. This focus helps us to learn together and support each other.

We are learning many digital technology skills in an authentic context, such as independently using Seesaw, creating algorithms to sequence a set of instructions and debugging to resolve problems. 

We swim during Term 1 and 4, and develop fundamental movement skills to enhance learning as part of our Health/P.E programme.  

As a BSLA accredited teacher , we follow a full literacy scope and sequence that weaves writing, oral language, and art into our reading programme.
