Nau Mai Haere Mai, Welcome to Room 3 2024

My name is Teura Karati, and I will be your child’s teacher for this year.  Nadine Turner joins us as our Learning Assistant.

We are a class of 21 students made up of years 5 & 6.  We have settled well into our daily routines, roles and responsibilities.

Our daily timetable includes Literacy, Numeracy, Topic as well as Health & PE and Te Reo Maaori me ona Tikanga.

Students are expected to follow our School's SOLE values all day, every day.  

Respect for self, others, learning and the environment.  Students can earn Housies for demonstrating our values and need to earn 12 Housies to participate on a Friday in a variety of fun and engaging activities.

I do not set homework as such, but I do encourage your child to read books of interest or books from the library on a daily basis. Learn their basic facts (times tables) and practice their spelling words.  Students can also access work from home on their personal devices.  If you require additional work, please let me know.
