WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL LIBRARY PAGE

The library at Pukenui Primary is an asset to our learning community. We have recently relocated to the Multi-Purpose Room which is located next to our new kitchen and dining area. We are well-resourced and encourage classes to use our space for learning and reading. We encourage students to take out books on all subjects and read for enjoyment. We welcome suggestions from students for books that they are interested in reading and will make every effort to obtain them. We can also support classroom programs by providing resources on topics that are being studied.

In this page please find information on our new titles and suggestions for books that our students will enjoy. There is no doubt that reading for enjoyment supports achievement and learning. Besides that reading is fun!!!
