School Lunches

Ka Ora, Ka Ako / Healthy School Lunches programme has started in our kura. This means that each child in our kura will be provided daily with a lunch. Please find attached a copy of the Nutrition Guidelines for whanau to look through. There are examples of a menu that our tamariki could be having, however, the menu will be suited to meet what they would prefer as long as it fits the criteria. There will be some adjusting to fine tune the menu. During cooler times eg winter, lunches will be heated.

If your child has any special dietary requirements please contact the office so we can cater for your child.

The Healthy Lunches programme means whanau do not need to provide their child/ren’s lunches. We will continue to have fruit available daily for tamariki.
