PUKENUI SENIOR SENIOR SCHOOL SWIMMING SPORTS 2021
Date: Friday 26th February, 2021
Assemble for Town Pools: 9:00am Start Time: 9.30 am
Expected finish time: By 2:00pm, students can be picked up after the relays
Venue: Waitomo District Aquatic Centre, Te Kuiti
Pukenui Year 5—Year 8 School Swimming Sports is on Friday 26th February. We invite you along to join in the fun and support our tamariki on this day.
Town Children: Children who live in town are to meet at the Te Kuiti Pools at 9 am. All children with the exception of the bus students will be dismissed from the Town Pool at 2.50 pm. Please ensure arrangements have been made for your child and any siblings who are at school on this day to be picked up.
Bus Children: All bus children will meet at the pools in the morning, and will be transported back to school in the afternoon by a staff member, ensuring they catch their bus on time.
Your child will need:
Swimwear - girls: togs, boys: swimming togs (above the knee)
2– 3 towels
a warm sweatshirt
sun screen & a hat
healthy snack food, lunch and a drink bottle of water (no other drinks)
Optional items: swim cap, goggles, rash shirt
And of course a fantastic attitude to ensure they get the best out of their day!
BBQ: BBQ sausages and juicies will be for sale and pre-ordered the week of our swimming sports. Any parents who can assist with cooking on the day to contact Whaea Aroha.
Phones: All phones will be handed into and locked away for the day. These will be returned to students as they are dismissed.
Inter School Swim Team: A team of students will be selected from class swimming lessons and our school swimming sports to represent Pukenui School at the Waitomo Inter School Swimming Sports on Friday 5th March.
